I sleep in a bathtub:
it is cool and simple in here
whereas the world outside
is hot and incorrect.
my heartbeat flutters
like a firefly that faints,
faints, reawakens…
nearby, my lover sleeps with
her head in a vase
and feet in fish bowls.
soon I will dispose of her,
because my heart is
no longer shaped
like a pyramid.
soon she will disembowel pillows
and fill them with tears
that are the opposite shape
of first kisses.
